MQTT has become a standard communication protocol that is perfect for this type of notification.

Thanks for the feedback.
We're currently looking at adding OPC UA functionality, it is on our roadmap for this year.. After OPC UA is done, we'll look at other open standards, like MQTT but it is not currently on our roadmap.
